CRESCENT ATTAINS AS9100 AND ISO9001:2008 CERTIFICATION
Crescent Manufacturing has attained new certification to the AS9100 Rev B and ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems. New certificates should be available by the end of November when our present ISO certification expires. After several months of reworking our ISO 9001:2000 system we passed our Audit at the end of October with what we felt was "flying colors". A score of 91.7% on our first audit to this level was considered outstanding.
In our continual effort to meet the requirements of our distributor customer base, Crescent made the decision to advance our Quality System beyond just the ISO requirements to the AS9100. Many customers had approached us regarding this change and Crescent rose to the occasion once again. It is our operating philosophy that we have been able to maintain our growth over the years through our partnership with our customers. Crescent has expanded our product line and Quality standards in an effort to provide a trusted source for our customers to remain competitive in the various fastener markets.
