All Crescent precision fasteners and component parts are compliant in the following areas except for specific products requiring cadium plate.
RoHS Compliance - Crescent Manufacturing is compliant with the ROHS Directive, i.e. the Restriction of Certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipmnet. All fasteners manufactured contain no more than the agreed levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants. * Please request a RoHS compliance statement on your PO.
ELV Compliance - End of Live Vehicles Directive 2000/53/EC requires that automotive products are free of mercury, cadmium and lead. All fasteners at Crescent Manufacturing are ELV.

WEEE Compliance - The European Waste Electrical and Electronic Directive (WEEE). All fasteners at Crescent Manufacturing are WEEE compliant.

NADCAP certified nickel, zinc and cadmium plate. NADCAP was formally National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accrediation Program. This is a U.S. government requirement, for NADCAP supporting documentation please submit a request.
DFARS Compliance - The Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and the Berry Amendment as the "Preference for domestic specialty metals" requires that materials used in the manufacturing of fasteners in the U.S. be melted in the U.S. or a qualified country.
