Grip or Shoulder Parts
Our development of the shoulder or grip parts is now complete. Crescent is now able to offer a much more extensive line of these parts. In particular, and of increasing interest by our distributors, we now offer a full line of the AN525, MS27039, NAS517, and NAS623.
Size specifications are #4s in lengths thru 1-1/2 inches, and #6 thru 5/16 in lengths thru 3 inches. Other prints are under review for addition to our line of Military Specification or please submit your print for quote. As always, full certifications are supplied at no extra charge on these items.
This manufacturing range is also extended to our full offering of commercial parts and specials. This includes solid rivets, that most forget, we can also fulfill our requirements on. Our manufacturing range on Solid Rivets runs from .039 thru .312 in diameter. Length and shoulder limitations would vary by size similar to the screw sizes designated.
Please consider Crescent for your next requirement inquiries on these new offerings as well as the old. Delivery on most items is running approximately 8-10 weeks at this time, rivets approximately 4-6 weeks.
Phillip HEX Heads
Another avenue that Crescent is venturing down is the NAS1096 and NAS1801 parts.
We have had much solicitation from our customers regarding these parts. In the past the majority of these were provided as a trimmed head which was a manufacturing process that we were not able to provide.
Now with the improvements of available tooling Crescent believes that we can add these to our offerings. We are still investigating the design of the tooling as well as a source for the drilling of the NAS 1801s. Crescent will keep you posted though the website as to our progress on these parts.
The STOCKING Program
Crescent initiated a Stocking Program about 3 years ago in an effort to make some of the most popular items more readily available to our customers. Over that period of time we have decided to
limit these items
to stainless steel.
By doing this we have been able to keep a more steady inventory level. Most recently, we have made available a 2-4 week lead time if quantity availability does not meet your requirement on these items. We have also added a Parts In Inventory Stocking Prgram page on our inventory listing for easy viewing of which items these are. All Stocking Program parts are offered at DFARS compliant. All parts are manufactured by Crescent at our facility in Burlington, CT ONLY.
Just a reminder, please remember that Crescent does accept
blanket orders with scheduled releases. Our only requirement are that you complete the order within on (1) year from the date of purchase, and that the releases be in quantities no less than 25,000 (25m). We offer this service in an effort to allow you to have a more steady inventory level on your more popular item, or for that customer that requires you to maintain a level for their JIT program. Please allow our sales staff to help work out a stocking plan to fit your needs.
